Derek Kaznoski, MD, FACOG
Dr.
Derek Kaznoski completed his undergraduate studies at Duke
University and holds a degree in biological anthropology and
anatomy. He graduated from the West Virginia University School of
Medicine in 1997 and completed his ob/gyn residency training at
Memorial Health in Savannah, GA in 2001. He is board-certified in
gynecology and has been actively treating patients for incontinence
issues as well as pelvic support problems since 2004. He has
performed hundreds of surgical procedures for incontinence and
vaginal prolapse, including single-incision slings, vaginal
reconstruction, and neurostimulator implantation. He also
maintains a practice in general gynecology, caring for all aspects
of women's health with a special emphasis on minimally-invasive
surgery. He shares an office with his wife, Dr. Shana
Kaznoski, a pediatrician. They have been in practice together
as Woman and Child, PC since 2004. Both native West Virginians, they
relocated back to their home state in 2009 after practicing in AZ
for 5 years. Dr. Kaznoski discontinued his obstetrical
practice in 2006 so he could focus fully on gynecology and
urogynecology. In order to better serve the needs of patients with
incontinence issues, he began the Center for Female Continence in
2014.
